What students are saying…

I have grown so much as an Audio Engineer in just one year all thanks to The Circle. Starting out with zero knowledge, I was able to quickly ramp up within 10-12 months on everything because of the one-on-one sessions I had with the lead instructor. I now have a basic understanding of the fundamentals of Audio Engineering and continue to increase my knowledge every time I’m behind the console. Because of this, I feel much more confident about where I can go from here as I pursue my career in the Live Audio and Production Ministry!
— Theo
The Circle has been an amazing experience. I feel like I have learned so much in a time frame that in any other program, would have taken years. The trainer(s) love(s) what they do and it shows in their teaching. Through The Circle and the hands-on approach it is built around makes things so much easier to understand. I have grown so much through this program, not only as a Sound Engineer on the technical side, but also as a person and as a leader. I am so grateful to have the opportunity to learn from such great instructors and trainers this program prides itself on. The excellence this program brings, and the “lead by example” mantra, I am truly blessed to be a part of this amazing family called The Circle.
— Victoria
I’ve had an exceptional learning experience in Audio Engineering since being enrolled in The Circle. In just a few lessons with my trainer, I’ve gained a comprehensive understanding of fundamental concepts that would have otherwise taken months, if not years to grasp. This accelerated program and my progress is attributed to my trainer’s ability to break down complex topics and provide thorough guidance through each aspect of audio. I’m extremely grateful for my trainer and his dedication and passion to the craft. It truly shows in his teaching and the approach he takes to each method.
— Luis
The last two years have been an absolute privilege to get to work with the lead instructor of The Circle to level up my skills as a Mix Engineer. The Circle gave me a structure and system to learn from and allowed me to find a new confidence in my skills. I had been mixing for a few years prior to working with the team, but since stepping into this program I have been able to work/learn on truly understanding the why behind the what while mixing.
When I was younger I lost 60% hearing in one ear. As one might guess, this created some challenges. Those challenges were met as the instructor and I worked one-on-one intently to expose those limits, create work-arounds, and showed me how to adapt to continue to mix at my best. I have since had opportunities to mix different services at multiple locations. I have stepped into mixing conferences, theatrical shows, as well as being a part of multiple campus builds to assist in bringing the “Awaken Sound” to those locations. If it wasn’t for a program like The Circle I would never have believed I was capable of so much. I am forever thankful and blessed by this program and the excellence in which the instructors and trainers lead to continue to grow the Kingdom of God through Audio Engineering!

What We Offer

We offer a full array of audio solutions. Ranging from Tour Management to Studio Recording, and everything in between. If you’re wondering if we can help with your needs, just ask us. There’s a good chance that we’ve seen it and are able to provide you with a solution or guide you in your next steps.

  • As your Music/Record Producer, we will assist you in recording your project and help bring your vision to life. We will guide you along the way. We offer the following; music composition, choosing session musicians, proposing changes to song arrangements, coaching the performers, controlling sessions, supervising the audio mixing, and, in some cases, supervising the audio mastering.

Whether it is a live show or a record, we take pride in making your drum kit sing. As the Drum Tuning Consultant for the band My Darkest Days, we not only tuned the drums for the drummer, but also worked with the FOH and Monitor Engineers to “EQ” properly to enhance the natural tones of the drums. Regardless of your setup, it is our passion to make it sound its best.

Our Audio and Acoustics Consultants have been around the world in many different venues and can help make any room sound controlled. Depending on the size and shape of your venue, an Audio and Acoustics Consultant can tune what is coming out of the PA (public address) system to match and work cohesively with the acoustics of any room or venue.

  • While operating as your Front of House Engineer (FOH) we will control the mix for the audience during a live event by using a variety of processors and effects to provide a particular style to the mix for those in attendance.

As the Monitor Engineer it is our job to tailor each individual performer’s mix on stage to suit their audio needs. The challenge is pleasing anywhere from four to ten or more musicians with a good mix. We will typically be located just off-stage, usually stage left, to provide for easier communication between ourselves and the performers.

As your RF Coordinator/Tech we will manage all the local frequencies for the “body packs” for In-Ear Monitors (IEMs) and the handheld mics you see artists using on stage. As this job can be very demanding, we work with extreme detail to make sure there are no “drop-outs” in signal for the handheld mics or IEMs.

Our PA Techs are in charge of hanging or “flying” one or both sides of the PA (speakers at a concert). With so many instruments and vocals on stage, it is imperative that we project that sound properly through a “Public Address” system so that those on stage can be heard with ease.

  • As a union member of AFM (American Federation of Musicians) Local #3, Taylored Touring offers musician services for Drums and Percussion.

If your event needs someone to play the drum kit, or maybe auxiliary percussion instruments, Taylored Touring can facilitate those needs in the studio for professional recordings or for live performances.

  • As your Tour Manager, it is our job to make sure your tour runs smoothly. That means arranging travel plans, coordinating with venues, managing money, facilitating media interactions, and scoping out local services at each tour stop.

As your Production Manager, while the tour is being planned, we will contract for services such as Lighting, Sound, Trucking, Rigging, Bussing, and Catering.

Our Stage Managers are masters of organization and communication. We will organize and facilitate rehearsal schedules, manage sound and set changes, and keep the stage clean and safe for the band during the show while maintaining the overall quality of the production.
