This picture was taken on our last official arena show in Europe of the 2019 in Lisbon Portugal.
While in Australia, earlier in the year, I decided to part ways with Team Isaak “Chris Isaak” and move on to new adventures with the Billie Eilish camp. It has been a long year of doing festivals, arena shows, TV spots, and radio shows, but we blew through it. Even though it was hard to leave Chris Isaak, this was one of the best decisions I have ever made. I have had a great time touring with my new tour family. Here is to a fun-filled, and exciting 2020. “Let’s Get The Show On The Road!” ™

On May 31 through June 3rd 2018, Scott Taylor sat on the CRAS Grad Panel at the Conservatory of Recording Arts and Sciences. His time spent there during this short visit was an AMAZING recollection of where he came from, and how far he has come since attending classes at this extraordinary school. Two incredibly talented people were invited to sit on the panel along side him - Michael Peterson and Jordan McClain. These are some of their credentials since attending the Conservatory.
Michael Peterson - Studio Recording & Mix Engineer at Serenity West. He has held many positions including: House Engineer, Head Assistant Engineer, Light Technician, and has assisted in most management areas. He’s worked with artists such as: Wiz Khalifa, Snoop Dogg, Miguel, Avenged Sevenfold, The Cult, Anthrax, Winery Dogs, Twenty One Pilots and the full cast of the Fox TV Show - Glee
Jordan McClain - Foley Cuer/Editor/Mixer at Sinc Sound in downtown LA. Most recent work includes TV shows like S.W.A.T., Atlanta, and Westworld!

He has mixed and engineered live shows for numerous artists including: New Politics, Tyler Hilton, My Crazy Girlfriend, Young The Giant, Big Bad Voodoo Daddy, Cher Lloyd, No Doubt, John Waite, Linkin Park, Jimmy Buffett, Monitor Technician for Prophets of Rage (Rage Against The Machine spinoff group), Monitor Technician for Childish Gambino, and currently holds the position as the Stage Manager, Audio Technician, and RF Coordinator for Chris Isaak.
"I attended "CRAS" from February 13th 2009 to September 11th 2009 at which time I graduated. As I returned to speak on the Grad Panel, the idea of being able to be in the position to make an influence on future grads, has been something I have dreamed about since attending the school and seeing other past grads speak to me. The Cuban is a feature film about a nineteen year old immigrant from Afghanistan. Having lost her parents at a very young age, Mina Ayoub, was sent to live with her aunt in Canada.
Pressured to pursue a career in medicine, as opposed to her real passion — music, Mina reluctantly takes a part time job at the local nursing home. Here she meets Luis Garcia, one of Mina’s most enigmatic patients, who has Alzheimer's and vascular dementia and spends his time retreated in a wheelchair, in his room. Mina hums tunes from her childhood as she goes about the job of feeding Luis and to her surprise, it ignites a spark inside him and he begins to awaken.

Music can affect the brain in so many ways like allowing the "Spectrum Artists" i.e. those artists with autism that are performing at “Light Up The Blues”, or even those with Tourette's syndrome just disappear when music is introduced.

Scott Stapp - the voice of creed, releases tribute video of chester bennington from his new album “The space between the shadows”.
Five years now since his death, a good friend of mine - Scott Stapp released this AMAZING tribute video to go along with one of his new songs from his new album - The Space Between The Shadows. He wrote this song after the loss of Chris Cornell of Audio Slave and Chester Bennington of Linkin Park.

At age 41 Chester Bennington died of apparent suicide by hanging.
I hate that this happened. The only thing I can say is that he apparently had a pretty hard life growing up in some pretty traumatizing ways. This proves that no matter how great you think someone has it, or how great of a life you think someone lives, "In The End"... you never know what is going on and... "Crawling"... beneath their skin.
Below is a Facebook post reflecting on the day's tragic events from one of my friends Scott Stapp - Lead Singer of Creed. He writes..,
"My heart breaks today, again, as I learn one of our brothers in music has taken his life. A Truly gifted talented and gentle soul who created music that brought healing, happiness, and comfort to millions all over the world, has left us. This is incredibly tragic. My Thoughts and prayers go out to his wife and 6 children. The more this sinks in, the more mixed emotions and anger I feel. The criticism of those who have struggled publicly or silently from callous people, media outlets, friends, family or coworkers has to stop at each and ever level. Those who have never personally suffered from addiction, alcoholism, depression or any other mental illness must realize outspoken ignorance, judgments and callous words and attitudes can hurt tremendously. The pain caused can literally push someone over the edge to self destruct! As a society there has to be change. I have a heavy heart right now and need to get theses feelings out. I ask all of you to please find compassion and understanding for these who suffer. Don't judge anyone. Depression isn't a choice but stigma and ignorance is. Rest in Peace brother. -Silent tears hold the loudest pain."

Nowadays this seems to be the norm. That being said, the fact that this is becoming the norm, is greatly saddening and disturbing. We are losing WAY to many influential people in the world today. The pressures of life can weigh down on a person. For some, its more than you can imagine. This is a guy that had it all; money, fame, fans, great family, and a smile that could light up a room. I know this first hand as I had the distinct pleasure of touring with them back in 2013 / 2014. One of the nicest guys you will ever meet. Still, apparently, that wasn't enough. Ironically, one of my greatest memories while on tour with Linkin Park was the night of the Minnesota state fair where I met Scott Stapp and his family. I will cherish this memory forever. Thank you Linkin Park! Thank you Chester for randomly coming over and talking to my dear friend Jaclyn Stapp and her son Jagger Stapp! You made their night, as well as mine! Rest in Peace my friend. You will be forever missed! Stand on that horizon at the end of the "Final Masquerade".

It's true what it says, if you or someone you know is considering suicide, please seek help and contact this number. Life is precious and should not be taken so lightly!
