CLIENT & PEer REviews

"Scott has a true passion for live sound.  His willingness to work, and knowledge of live audio is unlike I have ever seen. He has true integrity and character.  He is very honest, and hardworking. While many are followers, he is definitely a leader that exhibits great humility in working with others, and is always willing to learn in any way possible.  His drive and focus to be in the live sound industry is above and beyond."

"From the first day that young Scott Taylor walked through my studio doors looking for drum lessons I knew this kid was something special. Tenacity doesn't seem to be a characteristic of most young people these days but Scott showed a persistent focus for so many years that I was convinced that wherever he landed he would hit the ground running hard and "On Target." Scott Taylor is a remarkable young man with a meticulous and confident drive for music and this passion shines through in all he is challenged with. He is unbelievably focused in all he takes on and the success that has followed him throughout his musical career is living proof. Whether it be playing drums, trumpet, or guitar; singing and/or songwriting; managing, mixing, or just creating systems for International Touring Artists, Scott's list of career accolades continues to grow and I am very proud to have been a part of Scott's life for all these years. I consider him as not just a student, but a special friend and I love him as one of my own sons."

"Scott has many strong points. One of them is his integrity of character.  Scott follows through on his word and he goes about his work with great honesty.  While pride often gets in the way of success for some people, Scott displays humility in working with others, always looking to learn something from every experience.  He has a passion for working hard in the field of live sound; he walked in the door saying that was his goal and he walked out of the Conservatory of Recording Arts and Sciences with an even bigger fire then when he walked in.  Any person, live sound company, or band will benefit greatly by working with this amazing individual.  I’m sure they will be as impressed as I was during the time I got to know him."

"As a Minister of Music I have had the opportunity to work with Scott many times. Whether he is playing drums, guitar, singing or using his talent as "Sound Man" or DJ, Scott brings a professional contribution to any music program!"

"In August 2014, we were putting the finishing touches on our new $1.5 million dollar Family Life Center. Our church had voted to move our worship from our sanctuary to our new multi-purpose building. Our new building was equipped with state-of-the-art lighting, sound, & projector systems. Unfortunately, the agreed number of pre-purchased sound panels did not touch the echo that remained in the building. Our staff was told that we should not have built a flat ceiling. No one on our staff had any answers or solutions to the echo problem. The current company we chose thought it was a matter that they could not fix.

Our staff desperately needed expert eyes and ears on the situation and Scott Taylor was able to help us. Scott came to our church campus and inspected our problem areas and came up with a cheap and easy solution. Scott’s professional advice and years of experience led us down the path of placing a floating ceiling in our new worship area. The results were immediate and able to solve our sound problems.

In church life, oftentimes, the leaders are asked to deal with tasks that they have no understanding or insight on. If those problems are sound related, it is without hesitation that I recommend Scott Taylor for all sound control needs."

“My name is Reuben Poon and I am the Production Manager for Awaken Church. We have six (soon to be seven) campuses in two states with an average weekly attendance of 6-7 thousand. We put on hundreds of events every year including two large musical theater shows, 3-4 large conferences with thousands in attendance.

We initially hired Scott Taylor to fill in for some audio positions at a campus that had a group of volunteers transition out for various reasons. Very quickly, Scott took initiative to start training up our small core of audio volunteers and even helping recruit new ones to train. One of our executive pastors (who gives us their critical opinion) says that things have been sounding great lately even with people running sound with only months or weeks of experience.

Seeing this fruit, I wanted to get Scott's expertise at our latest Christmas musical, Twisted, where he provided some great tips and tricks to our sound team. I fully expect to have Scott work more with the team across all campuses and our headquarters team to increase the level of excellence and training Awaken Church can provide our audio volunteers.”

“In my search for quality custom in-ear monitors, I was faced with a slew of choices. Being overwhelmed with the amount of options, and very little comparison data of the different IEM manufacturers, Scott was willing to offer his expertise and assist me in making an informed decision.

Scott spent the time with me discussing their strengths, weaknesses, and functionality. With his wealth of knowledge, he was able to easily help me understand what was actually being offered. After helping me narrow down a few choices, I was able to easily make a decision. Along with assisting in the purchasing process through the IEM manufacturer directly, Scott also went out of his way to locate and schedule an audiologist which met me on-site to take my impressions and deliver them to the manufacturer direct.

Scott's assistance truly made the process simple, streamlined, and stress free.”

“Scott Taylor is a pleasure to work with. His attention to detail, knowledge, and experience speak volumes for who he has become in this industry. Having known Scott for over ten years, he has proved again and again that he is dependable and a hard worker. I highly recommend Scott.”

“Working with Scott was an absolute pleasure. Taking care of Billie and Finneas constantly created unique scenarios that were outside the scope of what could be considered normal. Scott was present and executed the tasks at hand with precision and extreme attention to detail. Outside of the scope of his technical abilities he demonstrated the ability to teach and be taught, humility, pride in his work, and positivity. He would be a valuable asset to any team/crew!”
